As a general tip, never start writing trying to write an excellent starting line. Always begin with the body of the text as it's easier and, honestly, you can't write a great introduction until you know your material.

If I were you I'd literally start writing in a "stream of consciousness" fashion, with me pretending to be a river. For example:

NOW I LIE AS A DIRTY AND UGLY RIVER BUT I USED TO BE ONE OF THE LONGEST AND BEAUTIFUL RIVER IN AFRICAN CONTINENT. IWAS ACTUALLY RUNNMING THROUGH THE COUNTRY EGYPT, I WAS NAMED NILE . I WAS VERY HAPPY AT THE FIRST THAT EVERY MAN , WOMEN AND CHILDREN, BUT I BECAME SOON UNHAPPY BECAUSE OF SOME PEOPLE AS THEY USED TO SPOIL MY FRESH WATER BY THROWING DIFF KINDS OF WASTE AND CAUSE MANY PROBLEMS T
