Autobiographical essay

I'm a college student, and i've been given a nine page autobiography. I really dont understand how i can write this much just about my life. The teacher suggested that this isnt just about me but my family also, and its not an "all about me" essay. What does she mean by this? Do I write about my family?...

Please help me...
