Authoritative list of English pronunciation of country names?
Hello all,
I've spent a fruitless hour googling around trying to find an authoritative list of country names across the world and how to pronounce them.
The Voice of America Web site has a pronunciation guide, but no search options, so I'd have to type in every country name manually or sift through the 41,000-odd entries.
Surely somewhere on the internet there must be a list something like
Afghanistan -- aff-ghan-ih-stan Australia -- awe-strayl-ee-ah
etc. etc. etc., which covers the nations of this world we live in/on?
