Aupair-Leaving letter for my family

Hi,

I´m an aupair here in London and I´m leaving soon. That´s why I´m preparing my family´s leaving presents that includes a letter. Of course, I´d like giving them a correct written letter, so it would be lovely if you could correct it. Thanks a lot for your attention and help.

----Letter:

I just want to thank you for a wonderful year I´ve spent and for being such a lovely host family.
Being a part of your life was an unique experience for me, especially because it was a totally exciting time for you with xxx´s arrival. Sharing this special moment and taking part in your new every day life was amazing for me. What is more, you gave me lots of personal opportunities. To improve my English for example.
I´ve learnt a lot and I am simply really thankful for all different experiences I´ve gathered here.
Strangely, I don´t want to say "good bye", because I hope we keep in touch. I rather want to welcome you to xxx at any time and spend a great time there, too.

Lots of love xxx
