Attribute and present

Hello!

In the sentence, "Michael is the enlarger of Pacific Ocean "

-supposing this person still exists while his enlargement is a past action having visible consequences in the present-

is the use of present tense correct to connect Michael to his attribute, as one could do in " George Lucas is the creator of StarWars "?

Thank you!

and that while Michael's act of extension is a past event, its consequ

It remains rather ridiculous. Let's use this:

Michael is the writer of this book.

Present tense is fine and normal here, and we are not distracted by unlikely situations and unnatural words like expander and extender.
