Attended a school or attended school?
Hi. Would you please check if the article before the word "school" is correct?
1. He never attended a school in the district while most of others around him went straight from elementary school to high school from there.
2. (Let us assume the letters "XXXX" in different places represent some different (arbitrary) years appropriate.)
He attended a high school from XXXX to XXXX, and then went on to attend another high school in another state from XXXX to XXXX, finally finishing his high school in XXXX.
