Attend to a personal matter?

What is the best way to tell your boss/colleagues that you need to do something personal but don't want to be specific? I don't want to make it sound too secretive either.
Will "attend to a personal matter" work?
Thanks for the help,
cpliu

That's OK. If it's related to your family, you could also say you have to "deal with a family matter".

I have another related question. If you say personal business, does it imply business you do other than the work you do at the office or it can mean personal issues?
Thanks,
