Hi,

Attached is an invoice for/the invoice for .... I notice that people use both 'the' and 'a' in this example. Are both of the options correct?

"Attached is an invoice for the services that we provided for you during the event."

"Attached is the invoice that you requested."

As for the first example, I think that it doesn't really matter if I use 'the' or 'a'. However, I'd not use 'a' in the second sentence.
