Hi,

1) Do you use the phrase ‘attach importance/significance to’ in conversation?

“We don’t really attach much importance to Christmas.”

2) When my makeup bottle is empty, I take out the pump because there’s still some makeup on it. What verb would be the most appropriate to describe the action of wiping the makeup off the pump and using it on my face?
