Atomic noir redux

There was a thread awhile ago about "atomic noir" movies that mixed film noir with themes of atomic anxiety and there was some reference to a movie about some people being held hostage in an abandoned town about to be destroyed by an imminent atomic test but some question about the title.
Well, I just came across it.
It's "Split Second" 1953, directed by Powell.
