ATM message - Right or wrong?

Hi everybody!!

I would like to know whether the message "Please, wait counting banknotes” is corret and understandable for native speakers of English or not.

I work for a bank in Brazil and received a ATM screen with this message, which sounded very weird to me.

Thank you!

It is certainly understandable however I wouldn't say it was natural. Please wait, while we count your money would be more natural.

Dear Dave Phillips,

Please wait, your transaction is in process.

Is the above sentence acceptable to a native speaker. Please throw some light on this sentence.
