Atlanta Giorgia and Atlanta Texas

Hi
Could someone please tell me the difference between Atlanta, GA and Atlanta, TX. I have read about in Wikipedia and when I google for hostels in Atlanta TX it most of the time leads me to Atlanta GA. I definitely don't understand these two cities.

Atlanta, Georgia is the one you'd go to. This is the famous city of Atlanta that you always hear about. Atlanta, Texas is a small residential town that no tourist would target as a destination, no hostels there in any case.
