Atlanta Giorgia and Atlanta Texas

Hi
Could someone please tell me the difference between Atlanta, GA and Atlanta, TX. I have read about in Wikipedia and when I google for hostels in Atlanta TX it most of the time leads me to Atlanta GA. I definitely don't understand these two cities.

Georgia (GA) and Texas (TX) both have a city named Atlanta. Atlanta in GA is more popular than Atlanta in TX, which is probably why you're directed to the former. As far as I know, you can choose between Atlanta, GA and Atlanta, TX in your Google search results.
