Could you tell me which preposition is proper between 'at' and 'in' in the following sentences? Thank you in advance.


If a noun comes [ at / in ] the first of a sentence, it functions as a subject. On the other hand, if a noun comes [ at / in ] the end of a sentence, if works as an objective of a verb or a preposition.
