at/in the airport

Is "in the airport" correct? What's its difference from "at the airport"?

Top answer

"In the airport" places the focus on "inside a particular building or structure" as opposed to "outside a building or structure". "In the airport" strongly suggests "inside the terminal " to me. "At the airpost" simply suggests the general location.
