A/the refund

Hi,
A quick question. I am a merchant. A client says:
"I would like you to issue me a refund".
I say:
"No problem. I will go ahead and issue a refund."
OR
"No problem. I will go ahead and issue the refund."

Either article is acceptable in this context when I say, right?

Anonymous Either article is acceptable in this context when I say, right? Yes, but as a merchant, I would most probably say ' your refund'.

In a real-life conversation, the merchant would just say 'No problem'.
