At this moment/at the moment

Hello,

I think both of these: "At the moment/At this moment I am looking for a job"sound okay but doesn't "at this moment" refer to the very moment of speaking? "At the moment..." could be a bit more general, meaning that I've been looking for one for days, weeks, etc. Can "at this moment" have the same meaning, or it strictly highlights one specific moment (the moment of speaking in this case).
