At the trailhead for/of Mr. Malabang

At the trailhead for Mt. Malabang, bamboo groves offer a shady start hikers. From there, the trail climbs up past old battlegrounds that the forest plants and trees are reclaiming.

Hi,
The above is from an article named "An Autumn Hike on Mt. Malabang." What does the bolded "for" stand for? Is it interchangeable with "of?" Thanks.
