At the time I got up I was already supposed to be at the station.

Is my sentecnce correct and natural?

I suggest 'By the time I got up, I was already supposed to be at the station'.



By the time I got up - focuses on the idea that

At the time I got up - is much more neutral in tone, rather like 'when'.
