A snake ate a rat and the corpse came out at the other end.


Is this ok? What are alternative ways to say the same thing?

It's 'the remains', not 'the corpse'. Almost all of the corpse has been digested.

Some snakes don't have 'the other end'. They are able to digest everything they eat, so they don't need 'the other end'. At least that's what I once heard on a nature show.
