Bob enters the lobby. A security guard is at the front desk.
If the security guard is seated behind the front desk, is "is at the front desk" OK?

Sorry, something went wrong with my earlier post. Here it is again.
If the security guard is seated behind the front desk, is "is at the front desk" OK? Yes, except it doesn't clearly tell us he is sitting.
