I have a paper with couple of photos at/on the bottom. Which preposition is the right one for this context. at the bottom or on the bottom? a bit of extensional explanation is always welcome

I'd use "at the bottom."
They both work. I recall the lyrics to the old standard, "I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter." :
A lot of kisses on the bottom/ I'll be glad I've got 'em.
Somehow it seems ambiguous.
