At that point

"It is not about selling out or making money at that point" I found this sentence in an interview and I would like to know if "at that point" is proper because I think it should be "at this point", In my sense, "At that point" is related to the past, or it is okay to say it for the future like "one day"?

Thank you as usual in advance.

Kwang Hee Han I found this sentence in an interview and I would like to know if "at that point" is proper because I think it should be "at this point", Without knowing the content of the interview, it is impossible to determine. But if the context was about a narrative going back in time, then "at that time" is fine. " Kwang Hee Han or it is okay to say it for the future like "one day"?

'At that point' can be used for both past and future. The tense and context normally indicates which.

Hi,

I get 'page not found'.

For the forum's intended purpose, we'd rather focus on improving learners' writing and grammar skill than dealing with interpreting work by others. In general, at this point/ at that point/ at one time/ at one point and phrases of this nature all implies an undertone of time relative to the context. .
