Does the phrase 'at random' make sense in this context?


?The sun increases the levels of serotonin in the body (and serotonin increases the sense of happiness in the body), so it's not at random that you enjoy a sense of happiness while being in the sun.?

It's easy to understand what you mean, but the expression for that is "by chance". it's not by chance that you enjoy ... "at random" is seen more often when a choice is made: The teacher chose students at random, so you never knew which team you would end up in.
