At, on or in?

Could you please help me with the following?

1)

a) Kids enjoyed seeing the news and cartoons (is this form acceptable?);

(or)

b) Kids enjoyed watching the news and cartoons. (?).

2) Computers are present at most of homes (or) in most of homes nowadays . (?);

3) Marketing influence is on (or) in the advertisements and not on (or) in the programs. (?) And here would it be wrong if instead of writing 'advertisements', I wrote 'announcements'?
