Dear MrP,

To answer your question, my answer is (B), but the sentence is" At night, Edward dreams____ dinosaur".

The paper's answer is (C), that's why I feel a little confuse...

Thanks !

Hi Joy.

We can see why you are confused.

We also think B - 'At night, Edward dreams about dinosaurs.'

To say 'Edward dreams a dinosaur' makes no sense. The only way to make this work would be to say 'Edward dreams up (meaning 'invents' in his imagination) a dinosaur, but that still sounds odd. We don't really talk about dreaming up things in

Distinctly dodgy.

The only other alternative is "dreams of a dinosaur".

So the sentence should be written " At night, Edward dreams of ___ dinosaur. (A)X (B)about (C) a (D)some. " .

Thank you for your help^_^!
