AT HER WORD

Dear Teachers,

1. You can be half-dead with the flu and answer "fine" when he asks you.

- What does "half-dead" mean?

2. I know it's hard to simply take her at her word.

- "take her at her word" means 'believe in what she says", right?

3. There isn't really any easy way to go about doing this.

- What does "go about" mean here?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
