At first sight? at the first sight?

I am very confused about whether I should use 'at'(or 'in') and 'the' at the same time...

Don't people usually say : 'love at first sight'?

Is the above phrase grammatically incorrect? Should it instead be 'love at the first sight'?

Another question is can I replace 'at' with 'in'?

Thanx this site has been such a boon for the development of my english.
