At an age vs in his age

(1) At a mid age, he won many movie awards.

(2) In his mid age, he won many movie awards.

May I ask two questions?

(A) Does it make sense to say "mid age" when you refer to an age between "early age" and "late age"?

(B) Is it correct to use "in" instead of "at" when you use the possessive "his age" in (2)?

Thanks a lot.
