Vocabulary

at all = to some extent?

'And there are other stories too,; continued Basil. 'Are they true? Can your life really be so bad, so evil? You were a fine young man once, but now, when I hear these stories, I wonder . . ."Do I know you at all? What has happened to the real Dorian Gray? I think I would have to see your soul before I could answer those questions.'

Q) Do "at all" in "Do I i know you at all" roughly mean to some extent?
What can replace that phrase?

Not exactly. The idea here is that Basil once knew Dorian, or thought he did, but now Dorian has changed to such an extent that Basil feels he does not know him at all, it is as if Dorian is a stranger. " suggests "Is there anything about you that is the same as it was when I really knew you well?
