At a time vs at once
Could you tell me if both sentences are correct? Is number one clear? How would you say both please?
I rinse the bottles I wash 2 bottles at a time/at once. I have one in my hand rinsing it and the other is in the sink under the flow of the water sink being rinsed so as not to waste any water.

Floss between two pairs of teeth at the same time. Not much difference between 'at once' and 'at a time'. I find the entire explanation a bit overbearing, however.
