As/When/After he's gone/left

The bad guy enters the room and looks around, then heads back out. As/When/After he's gone/left, Julia comes out of a closet where she's been hiding.

Hi teachers, could you please tell me if "as", "when", and "after are interchangeable here? And the same with "gone" and "left"?

Also, would you say "he has" instead of "he's"?

Thank you in advance.
