'assured' or 'sure'

Hi everyone,

need help with 2 questions with a video:

1)'I mean, I think as you grow,as you become more assured, as you learn more, you begin to really love anything you do more as well, so works both ways.' (21m12s)

is it 'assured' or 'sure'? I feel both are okay but what did she say?

2)'And I still feel the same way about other designers, about their talent, their creativity,and work ethic.'(20m47s)

Is there an 'a' in front of 'work ethic'? I don't hear it but i saw in the subtitle

3) 'And I see fame be so fleeting, that I can't really say that that defines success.'

is it 'see' or 'seen'? It sounds like 'seen' in the video. Was she trying to say 'I've seen'?

and is it 'so fleeting' or 'to be so fleeting'?
