Hi,
Please help to identify the different applications of below words,
*assure
*ensure
*make sure

1. I can make sure that he will be there on time.
2. I can assure that he will be there on time.
3. I can make sure that he will be there on time.

In that sentence, you can use "make sure" or "ensure."

#2 doesn't work.
You could say: "I can assure you that he will be there on time."
But that has a different meaning.
