Hi teachers,
Can I say like this?:
For some reason ,the teacher assigned /arranged my seat right beside/next to his .
After sometime I found that we were each other's close friends.
After sometime I found us being each other's close friends.

or

Thank you Ronbee, but I don't think "put my seat next to to his " is better than " arrange my seat next to his". You cannot put a seat .

Maybe a native speaker will help with my questions
