Asset or Assets?

Hi, thanks for reading my question again.

Just wanna ask do we say:

I have more asset than you, or I have more assetS than you?

In what situations, we use assets? Why sometimes we use "s", sometimes we don't?

It is confusing....

I have more assets than you do.

Asset - a valuable item or property which you own.

Assets - may include cash, stock, inventories, property rights and goodwill.
