Aspirin

I read in a book that using Aspirin in children with virus infection will cause Reye's syndrome. Can anyone tell me its mechanism? Thanks a lot .

This is an English language forum, Camhien, not a medical one. We would be bordering on malpractice (if we had M.D.s to begin with) to offer medical descriptions and prescriptions beyond the bounds of terminology.

Um... I don't see that our membership in our forum can be extended into a MD. Although this one is to talk about terminologies... i also don't see that if someone is in real need that we cannot extend our courtesy too.
