Asking questions with complex sentences

Are all correct?
Which are preferred?

a. Are you going to be able to get this to me by the end of the day, as they have been said they need it today?
b. Are you going to be able to get this to me by the end of the day. They have been said they need it today.

c. How long will it take, as I need to go now?
d. How long will it take? I need to go now?

e. Do you know who you normally contact, as I'm not familiar with any radio advert?

These are not well formed sentences in my opnion and they sounded odd to my ears. For A - I would say: " Will you be able to get this to me by the end of the day, we really need it". as they have been said ".

These are not well formed sentences in my opnion and they sounded odd to my ears.

For A - I would say: " Will you be able to get this to me by the end of the day, we really need it". I am not sure who "they" is, and it is not necessary to say: "...as they have been said ".

For C - First part is fine, but the last clause: "as I need to go now?" sounded strange. It is much better t
