Asking Politely

Hello. Could you please tell me if the following sentence is grammatically correct and also polite enough to be sent to an eminent professor? I want to tell me if he is interested in my research I can send him a copy of my recently submitted paper. Thank you for your help.


"Please let me know if I can send you a copy of my recently published paper."


I don't feel good about my sentence. I feel it's wrong.
