Asking for guidance

Hi , dear friends

would you please guide me about my listening problem?

Actually i 'm not good enough at songs than news and other stuffs.Taking into account that i'm as a nonnative at level of intermediate, i don't know how to solve this or even to whom i should listen at first.(i'm not sure about the structure of the italic sentence plz check it, or being as a nonnative at level of intermediate, ...)Emotion: embarrassed

Sometimes i listen one piece over and over but it's not helpful.Due to the fact that some accents are so fast to my ear.I feel i can't solve this problem by overlistening. So i decided to discuss it and i'd be grateful if some one guide me about songs regarding my level or whatever is thought would be helpful.

Thanks for your time & help.

You're right about the original 1. & 2., Rashin.

I'm a bit stumped on your second pair of questions.
#1 is a bit too general to answer directly. The participial phrase often modifies the subject of the main verb without actually restating it. Could you give us an example of one that you think might be a problem?

Your example in #2 is correct for the "absolute." It's fairl
