Asking for direction

Can I say,

(a) The tourist is asking for direction (to that building).

(b) The tourist is giving him directions.
(c) The tourist is showing the direction of the building to the man.

(d) The tourist is showing the direction.
(e) The tourist is asking directions from John.
(f) The tourist is asking the direction to Twin Tower.
