Asking advise for an abstract

Dear All,
I appreciate very much if you like to help me improving the following abstract. Thank you

<begin>
With proliferation of smartphones, the floating car data (FCD) technique has become a feasible technique to provide real-time or near real-time traffic information at low cost. Many literature have reported the technique from various perspectives. However, the effect of the averaging time interval to the accuracy of the floating car data has not been discussed. This article discusses the issue and demonstrates that there is an optimum averaging time interval such that the FCD technique is able to provide more accurate traffic data. We empirically study the problem using data collected in an experiment where a platoon of vehicles is traveling in a closed-circular road. The optimum averaging time interval is found at 7 s for a vehicle penetration rate of 4.6%. Generally, when the averaging time interval is too short and the probe vehicle is moving aggressively, the FCD technique tends to overestimate the platoon velocity, which tends to distribute uniformly.
