review the meanings? I don't understand. If I know that a person is definitely not going to school at the moment, then do I ask did you go to cooking school or have you gone to cooking school?
If I knew that a person is going to some school at the moment then do I ask have you or did you?
Beacuse I'm guessing that if I know the person education is aleady finished then I use simple past "did you go" beacuse the action of that education is finished, no?

Eh yes but I'm more asking in situations like if employer a head chef is asking about your resume and then should he ask did you ever go to cooking school or have you ever gone to cooking school??
And what about "have you went to school". When you type that in google it shows a lot of results. That's confusing. Is "have you went" even correct? If yes then when do you use it.

He should ask 'Have you ever got to cooking school?', because it has importance to the present situation.
