Askind in different forums.

Hello everyone,
Dear native English speakers,
When I want to ask an English language question, I usually ask it simultaneously in three forums. One is this forum and the other two are different forums.
I hope you don't get my this action as a rude action.
Because once, one of the admins of the forums told me: "You are rude"
I answered him: "Why?"
He told me: "You are rude because you ask a same question in many forums"

But believe me I need to do that, because when I do that, every member gives me some additional response which may be more helpful than the ones have given in the other forums. I hope you understand me. I don't want to tell you which forum it was because it's bad to name it and the admin.

I am sure that you will never get it as an insult or rude behavior when I ask a same question in three different forums too. I do this because sometimes the answers differ and I will choose the most clarified and helpful answer.

I know that the users of this forum are open minded and never think of me as a rude poster. The reason I just post this thread is to inform you not to be angry or upset if you notice or realize that I have asked the same question in other forums too.
I need to do that. Because in this forum one member may has given me a better answer than the one in other forum.

You are really patient. I have never seen a cold response from you. I feel you are such as my brothers/sisters. You are so warm hearted and kind and you have never answered me coldly.

My best wishes to you.
Sb.

Perhaps you could consider posting a question first in one forum, and then waiting a while for responses there. If you don't feel that the answers are full or satisfactory, you could then post the question in another forum, providing a link to the first discussion. That way people will not waste time repeating exactly the same answer that someone else has already given. I think that this waste of

GPYI think that this waste of time and effort is the usual reason people get annoyed when the same question is asked multiple times.
But no one has to answer the same question from the same person more than once. In fact, that's preferable.

Indeed, it's preferable for the same person to not answer the same question in mulitple forums. However, when Person A spends a good amount of time trying to create a very good answer and then finds that some else has spent his or her time providing essentially the same answer two hours or even two days earlier on another forum, it can make Person A feel like their time was wasted. It can make Person A feel that way I suppose, but I don't worry about it. Haven'

You can think of yourself as whatever you want. I don't think of myself as a monkey.

There is no double standard in asking members not to waste the time of others. The objection was not to sb visiting othe

Dear 5JJ and Barb, you know why I do this?
Because sometimes the ones who answer my questions may give some additional examples or samples or guidance which the ones in the other forums have not done that.
