Askew, write off

Hi,

If I copy a document and the text is not straight, can I say that it's 'askew' or 'crooked'?

I just passed an exam. Could I say:" I can finally write this one off." I'm trying to say that I no longer have to worry about the exam. Could 'write off' be used? I vaguely remember that I heard someone use it in a similar way.

Thank you!
