I see no 1 is more natural to us than the 2nd one.

Please explain between the meaning thanks in advance.
For the first two, "I am not ashamed to do this" is talking about the future where "I am not ashamed of doing this refers to something that already happened. The second one is more complicated. I read the first sentence to mean that the person had a revelation and a misconception they had was set straight.
