Ascent steep

How would you phrase this please? What would you change please?

I don't mind living in the hills. I just don't like it when the uphill ascent is too steep. If the the slope street I'm living on is at 20 degrees and the ascent up the hill is gradual, I don't mind.

Is it correct to say “uphill ascent too steep”? Would you change a word or 2?

I just don't like it when the uphill ascent is too steep.

Can a slope or street be at 20 degrees?

Can you say “ascent up the hill is gradual”?

If the the slope/street I'm living on is at 20 degrees and the ascent up the hill is gradual, I don't mind.

Thanks

I just don't like it when the street has an incline/slope greater than 20 degrees. I just don't like it when the gradient is steeper than 20 degrees.
