As..........As Mr.Rohoda Sterm from accounting?

Please look at the following sentence.

"Very few candidates for the position of vice president show as impressive a list of qualifications as Ms.Rohoda Stern from accounting"

I could somewhat understand what this sentence mean. What I doubt are,

[1] Is the sentence right in grammar?
[2] What is the meaning of "a list of qualifications"? I think it just means "qualifications" or "talents". What is the meaning of "a list". Does it real need the word of "a list" there?
[3] I think there are some missing words in "as clause". Does he have to write as "that of Mr.Rohada Stern from accounting"?

Thank you for your answers in advance.
