I have thought in "as~as~" comparison, the latter "as" is always a conjunction involving implicit words. But, in the category B, the latter "as" seems like it introduces a adverbial phrase. So, I'd like to know if "as~as~" comparison can play the role of an adverbial phrase, not a clause. Thank you in advance for your help.
