ASAC

Hi,

As usual...

So the following sentence:

Two cops are talking on the phone, then one says "Stay on your cell phone.
I got the ASAC's phone."

What does "ASAC's phone" mean?

Thanks.

The phone (or the call coming through on the phone) of the 'Assistant Special Agent in Charge'? (Your two cops do a helluva lot of talking on the phone, MoH. It's about time they got out there and solved a few crimes.

Thanks.

Don't worry, cops are already getting out to solve crimes.

As for 'Assistant Special Agent in Charge', could you please explain what it means?

Think this must be the job description, MoH:
