I know it's "you look as young as ever", but I was just wondering if "you look young as ever" is acceptable. Thanks.

jon8I know it's "you look as young as ever", but I was just wondering if "you look young as ever" is acceptable.It is said in conversation. The first 'as' is often dropped when speaking informally:
'Now it's clear as day.'
'You look white as a sheet!'
